Not a Chance

Born in a small rural community in the Deep South just three days before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and devastated emotionally eleven years later by the death of his father on Christmas Eve morning in 1952, young Doug Carter was convinced that there was "not a chance" his future would be worth living.
