Journey into the fulfillment of the Jewish story by diving deep into Jesus’ story. From the first verse to the last, Matthew establishes Jesus as a direct descendant of King David and portrays him as the new, greater Moses. Unlike any other gospel, Matthew reveals how to live as a citizen of God’s kingdom, with Jesus as our loving King.

The Passionate Life Bible Study Series will help you explore this king and his kingdom through Matthew’s detailed historical biography. Each uniquely, crafted lesson opens with an introduction and key verse to reveal important themes. Four sections guide you through Matthew in a way that will help you discover, explore, experience, and share the heart of God more deeply. Jesus said that everyone who hears and applies his teachings is wise. Explore those teachings now to build a life that matters and lasts!

Author Info

DR. BRIAN SIMMONS is a passionate lover of God. After a dramatic conversion to Christ, Brian knew that God was calling him to go to the unreached people of the world and present the gospel of God’s grace to all who would listen. With his wife, Candice, and their three children, he spent eight years in the tropical rain forest of the Darien Province of Panama as a church planter, translator, linguist, and consultant. Brian assisted in the Paya-Kuna New Testament translation project. After their ministry in the jungle, Brian was instrumental in planting a thriving church in New England (U.S.) and currently travels full time as a speaker and Bible teacher. He is currently the lead translator of The Passion Translation.
